Thanks to Asa Fisher for his inspiring guitar solo. It takes the song to a higher level.
Originally called ‘Eyes on You’, it was intended to be a play on words & symbols and double entendre phrases thruout the lyrics. I started with the guitar lick that is prevalent thruout the song. I felt like this should sound more like a power trio of guitar, bass and drums. Something I had not done yet. The lyrics slowly morphed into a tale of losing our soul through Artificial Intelligence and the constant need to connect through the internet without really connecting to each other through actual physical human contact.
