Mr. I.M. Blind
Terry Belmore has always been one of my go to guys for playing lead guitar. A masterful performance.
Another song that has double entendre overtones using the title Mr. I.M. Blind as the starting point to create characters that serve as verbs and adverbs while also trying to warn society about the craziness and insanity fomenting from the obsession of being online. I guess if you aren't privy to the lyrics and read the words but just listened to the song you might not know about the metaphoric characters I refer to. It's just me trying to be clever. Don't know if it works but I thought I'd give it a try. Be careful not to lose yourself and your humanity to become a shell of indifference.
I've a sneakin' suspicion thru some chance admissions
that he lies right thru his teeth
It may be stigmatic vision or myopic ambition
which helped his brothers in the street
Well I have known them - U.R. Plunder, N.I. Cheat
Its no wonder, you're akin to Father DeCeit
We're talkin' 'bout I.M. Blind, Mr. I.M. Blind
Drugged by mind medication, numbed by asphyxiation
becoming docile and tranquilized
Could be the face of repression or the blank expression
that lets you know he's hypnotized
He's a puppet, you can see by the look in his eyes
Has he a secret? What he does is not realized
We're talkin' 'bout I.M. Blind, Mr. I.M. Blind
Mr. I.M. Blind to the horror
Blind to the pain
Blind and indifferent, he's part Lee N. Sane
Blind to his lover
Blind to the passion
Blind, Just unable to See
Are you this man?
Mr. Blind has lost his mind, controlling function, focus, and spine
Mr. Blind blurts out goodbyes to Miss Ymoshun, Reese N. EnRyhme
Mr. Blind and a Will Less Kynde go thru the motions with Pan T’Myme
Mr. Blind now designs our time, just hit the key, you’re a captive online
Cause he's a robot, now his soul is in pieces and tatters
Well he knows not, Not a thing in this world really matters
We're talkin' 'bout I.M. Blind, Mr. I.M. Blind
We're talkin' 'bout I.M. Blind Mr. I.M. Blind
Mr. Blind has lost his mind, he’s a puppet, he’s a robot
Crashed his psyche in a SIM machine, he’s so blind
